About the Role:

The YMCA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Director to lead our community outreach efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality programs that meet the needs of diverse communities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand programs within the community
  • Manage Wellness and Membership departments, overseeing programming and operations of Youth Programs
  • Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule, and direct personnel and volunteers as needed
  • Review and evaluate staff performance, develop strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals
  • Assist in budget development and ensure programs operate within budget
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed and YMCA program standards are met
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations
  • Respond to member inquiries and complaints in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two to three years supervisory experience
  • Two to four years Family YMCA experience preferred
  • Certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED required within 45 days of hire

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
