Healthcare Operations Coordinator

Core Clinical Management LLC is a leading provider of Emergency and Hospital Medicine services, committed to delivering patient-centric care and operational excellence. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Operations Coordinator to join our team.
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role:
The Healthcare Operations Coordinator will play a critical role in managing and coordinating clinician activities at our practice locations. This includes serving as a liaison to internal and external customers, providing support to the Director of Operations and Medical Director, and partnering with various stakeholders on projects and tasks that support effective and efficient practice operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling Functions: Assist with scheduling functions as needed by acting as a liaison between scheduler and provider for shift coverage and ensuring accurate reflection of time worked.
- Project Management: Manage projects at the practice level, including information gathering, timelines, task delegation, and communications.
- Credentialing and Compliance: Collaborate with the revenue cycle team to identify and obtain missing charts, physician documentation, and other necessary information for coding and billing. Additionally, work with the credentialing team on new hire credentialing needs and maintenance of clinician credentials.
- Provider Support: Partner with hospital personnel for completion of new provider orientation and training. Facilitate provider interviews, arrange schedules, provide tours, and secure interview rooms as needed.
- Patient Complaints: Assist with patient complaints by documenting and forwarding to the site medical director and/or hospital personnel as appropriate.
- Stakeholder Meetings: Coordinate stakeholder meetings on a recurring and ad hoc basis.
- Policy Administration: Administer company and client policies and procedures in a consistent and timely manner.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to effectively navigate job-related software for credentialing, scheduling, and other functions.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Familiar with healthcare jargon and terminology.
- Judgment and Collaboration: Utilize independent judgment in determining areas of collaboration, escalation, and autonomy.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with professionals internal and external to the company and across geographic locations.
Education and Experience:
We require a High School Diploma or GED, prior operations or administrative experience in the healthcare industry, and experience with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with MS Teams, scheduling software, and credentialing software is preferred.
