Position: Laser Systems Technician
RPM Innovations, Inc., a prominent player in the industrial services sector specializing in Directed Energy Deposition (DED) additive manufacturing, is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Laser Systems Technician.

Available Shifts:
  • Day Shift (7:00 am to 3:00 pm)
  • Evening Shift (3:00 pm to 11:00 pm)
  • Night Shift (11:00 pm to 7:00 am)

Applicants should possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to suitable candidates. Essential skills include strong organizational abilities and effective decision-making. Candidates must demonstrate proactivity and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire expertise in the operation of the laser system to safely and independently manage its functions as needed.
  • Comprehend and implement all safety protocols associated with the laser system and its supporting processes.
  • Safely maneuver parts and materials using industrial trucks, hoists, overhead cranes, and related rigging equipment.
  • Utilize knowledge of laser technology fundamentals to assist in the ongoing integration of this technology within RPM Innovations.
  • Contribute to the design and development of laser system hardware, software, and fixturing requirements as necessary.
  • Assist in crafting written operating procedures that define and ensure the effective use of the laser system.
  • Support the creation of maintenance procedures that facilitate the reliable operation of the laser system.
  • Conduct pre-, in-process, and post-inspections of customer components, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Develop the necessary knowledge to aid in the maintenance of the Quality Management System and related responsibilities.
  • Assist in the organization and upkeep of all required company documentation and record-keeping.
  • Prepare and mount metallurgical samples as directed.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to work various shifts is essential.
