Overview

The Rays Baseball Club LLC is seeking a dedicated part-time seasonal performer to take on the role of a backup mascot for the upcoming season. This position entails participation in pre-game, in-game, and occasional post-game events, along with community outreach activities such as festivals and school engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with fans during home games through promotions, suite visits, and crowd interaction.
  • Participate in ceremonial activities, including catching first pitches and posing for photographs.
  • Contribute to the vibrant atmosphere by dancing and entertaining the audience.
  • Assist as a handler for the mascot when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Height requirement: 5'6 to 5'9
  • Previous experience in promotional activities, costume performance, and customer interaction is preferred.
  • Ability to engage comfortably with large crowds and on camera.
  • Must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and excellent multitasking skills.
  • Good physical stamina and endurance are essential.
