Grounds Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Park Lawn Memorial Group, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of our cemetery, mausoleum, and funeral home locations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including lawn care, pruning, and landscaping.
- Operate mechanized equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and edgers.
- Set up and complete interments and entombments, including excavating graves and placing caskets on lowering devices.
- Identify and locate interment/entombment spaces on cemetery maps.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of grounds experience, preferably in a cemetery setting.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and acceptable driving record.
The successful candidate will work in an outdoor environment, exposed to inclement weather, extreme temperatures, and uneven ground. They will be required to lift up to 75 pounds and may be required to lift up to 100 pounds. Overtime may be necessary or required.
TravelThis position may require up to 10% out-of-area and overnight travel.
