Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at the City of Rio Rancho, NM. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in our buildings and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatuses
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical problems in buildings and infrastructure
- Design and estimate costs of electrical projects
- Coordinate with vendors and make purchases as needed
- Assist in general building maintenance and construction tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyman's Electrician License (JE-98)
- IMSA Certification in Work Zones and Traffic Signals Level I
- Three years of experience as a journeyman electrician
- High School Graduate or equivalent
Working Conditions:
This position requires frequent driving and working in various weather conditions. The selected candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
