Senior Insurance Loss Control Consultant

At Alexander & Schmidt, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Insurance Loss Control Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and preparing in-depth reports for insurance underwriting purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of commercial properties to identify potential risks and hazards.
  • Prepare detailed reports on the findings of the inspections, including recommendations for risk mitigation and loss control.
  • Collaborate with insurance underwriters to ensure that the reports are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure that their risk management needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in risk management and loss control.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial insurance loss control or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial property and casualty lines, including property assessments, inland marine coverages, and workers compensation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and root causes of losses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, OHST, ALCM, and/or ARM are preferred.
