We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician/Certified Nurse Aide to join our team at UVA Health. As a key member of our Medical ICU team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to critically ill patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living to promote optimal recovery and comfort.
- Perform basic nursing skills and administrative tasks as delegated by a Registered Nurse, ensuring a safe and efficient delivery of care.
- Provide a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Aide certification (CNA) through the Virginia Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification.
- Ability to lift/push/pull 20-50lbs and > 100lbs (Home Health Aide only).
Competitive compensation range: $15.00 - $23.82 per hour.
