We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Tech to join our team at Centennial Peaks Hospital. As a Mental Health Tech, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include observing and recording patient information, providing crisis intervention, and participating in individual and family education groups.
Responsibilities- Provide a safe and therapeutic milieu for patients
- Observe and record patient information pertinent to the treatment plan
- Report patient information to the nursing team
- Participate in crisis intervention and individual/family education groups
- Assist with activities of daily living
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working with a psychiatric patient population (preferred)
- Knowledge of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationships, and crisis management
As a Mental Health Tech at Centennial Peaks Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. Shift InformationThis is a full-time position with a shift schedule of 4-5 shifts per week, 8-hour shifts from 11pm-7:30am. You will also be eligible for our generous shift differentials.
