About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Tech to join our team at Centennial Peaks Hospital. As a Mental Health Tech, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include observing and recording patient information, providing crisis intervention, and participating in individual and family education groups.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and therapeutic milieu for patients
  • Observe and record patient information pertinent to the treatment plan
  • Report patient information to the nursing team
  • Participate in crisis intervention and individual/family education groups
  • Assist with activities of daily living
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience working with a psychiatric patient population (preferred)
  • Knowledge of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationships, and crisis management

Shift Information
