About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and creative Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of increasing access to quality mental health care.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals.
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
  • Manage a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week.
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
  • Contribute to a thriving team culture.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field.
  • Clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, etc.) with a valid license to practice in the state of Colorado.
  • Certifications and/or specialized trainings a plus, particularly EMDR.
  • Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and adept in learning Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus).
  • Pass a background check.
  • Licensed clinicians who are currently credentialed with insurance panels are a plus.
  • Bilingual clinicians a plus.
