Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Care Representative to join our team at Lennar Homes. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our homeowners receive exceptional service and support throughout their home ownership experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-walk homesites to identify and address any quality control issues prior to homeowner delivery.
  • Provide quality control of finished products to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Conduct homeowner walk-throughs to educate homeowners on the operation of appliances, heating/cooling systems, and maintenance of their home.
  • Coordinate with our construction department staff and trade partners to complete walk-through repairs within 5 days.
  • Schedule and supervise trade partners' repairs in homes after delivery to homeowners.
  • Schedule inspections with homeowners, assess routine warranty claims, and follow through to completion all service requests within 7 days.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to our customer care manager on progress and scopes of work.
  • Maintain positive homeowner relations, providing homeowners with knowledgeable, timely, and professional service.
  • Evaluate trade partner and product performance, providing ongoing information to our customer service manager as it relates to quality of workmanship and materials.
  • Work with our customer service manager on special projects as needed.
  • Participate in department meetings and stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • Keep accurate service request logs and documentation of all work performed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Three to five years of residential customer care or construction field experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with confrontational situations and maintain objectivity in public relations.
  • Detail-oriented, works well under pressure, capable of handling multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
  • Follow directions from a supervisor.
  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures.
  • Accept constructive feedback.
  • Team player.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
