Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Manufacturing Team Lead to join our manufacturing team at our South Portland, ME factory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and scheduling the activities of a 6PM to 6AM shift, maintaining accurate records and keeping management informed of delivery against schedules, priorities, and problems.


The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing a team of technicians and engineers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They will be responsible for ensuring targets are achieved per plans and collaborating with the Sr. Manufacturing Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Position

  • Oversee the night shift operations, ensuring efficient execution of production plans and schedules.
  • Collaborate with direct reports to achieve production goals, providing guidance on administrative procedures, technical problems, and work priorities.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Provide regular progress reports to management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering/Technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Eight plus years of semiconductor experience (may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Three plus years' management and/or leadership experience in positions with demonstrated ability in an engineering or operations discipline.
  • Fluent in English Language – written & verbal.
