About the Role

Nevada Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Medical Assistant Float to support our clinical processes and referral coordination efforts. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent medical services in a patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clinical processes and referral coordination efforts based on the needs of the practice and flow of the day.
  • Participate in the delivery of excellent medical services in a patient-centered medical home environment.
  • Coordinate and complete all activities and paperwork to prepare patients for examination and/or procedures.
  • Administer medications under the direction of a provider.
  • Perform in-office lab procedures and phlebotomy on pediatric and adult patients.
  • Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Actively participate and support quality improvement activities and clinical practice teams.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education equivalent (GED).
  • Certified by a nationally recognized accreditation body (i.e., AAMA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA) or eligible to sit for the certification exam within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
