Aerotek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing aircraft maintenance operations to ensure cost-effective and reliable maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Maintenance Operations: Oversee the maintenance operation to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Lead a Team: Manage a team of mechanics to ensure effective maintenance operations.
  • Schedule and Prioritize Work: Assist in developing effective schedules to meet operational demands and prioritize work to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure Proper Staffing: Maintain proper staffing levels to ensure adequate resources for maintenance operations.
  • Develop Innovative Solutions: Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve maintenance processes and efficiency.
  • Manage Resources: Ensure adequate materials, calibrated tooling, and equipment are available for maintenance operations.
  • Ensure Safety: Ensure OSHA and safety guidelines are followed, and safety training is provided to all mechanics.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with Maintenance Control and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information on aircraft status.
  • Manage Vendors: Oversee vendors to ensure timely and effective services.
  • Foster a Positive Work Environment: Foster Aerotek's core values and culture throughout the work environment.
  • Recruit and Develop Talent: Screen, interview, and make recommendations for hiring potential employees, and provide coaching and leadership to direct reports.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
  • Experience: 6 years A&P experience on similar aircraft with at least two years in a supervisory or lead position.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Additional Requirements: Possess a stable employment history, valid Driver's License, and a clean driving record.
