Join Our Team as a Clinical Lead Clinician

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Clinician to join our team at Bonita House, Inc., a nonprofit mental health agency dedicated to providing social rehabilitation services to adults with co-occurring serious mental health and substance use disorders.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $92,958 per year, based on the location in Alameda County, California.

Job Description

This Clinical Lead position will act as a Crisis Clinician with additional lead duties, including field training support, assistance with new staff onboarding, shadowing, conducting peer debriefs, and some manager meetings.

  • Direct crisis intervention and crisis management services for both CATT and SCU programs
  • Timely documentation, including consistency with Agency and Accreditation standards
  • Assist managers in maintaining field compliance standards for programs
  • Attend all required clinical meetings and trainings
  • Attend Department Manager meetings 1x a month
  • Billing - Medi-Cal and Medicare
  • Assists with tracking program outcome data and ensure all consumers are provided with after-care follow-up
  • Community Outreach - internal and external stakeholders-
  • Provide in-field training and shadowing for new clinicians
  • Lead peer debriefings after challenging calls
  • Vehicles operation and navigation to and from incident locations and during client transport
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be experienced in the field of crisis management, committed to the practices and principles of Roberts' Seven-Stage Crisis Intervention Model (SSCIT), and experienced in working with a highly diverse community.

  • Rapid screening and assessment, DSM5 Diagnosis, and works effectively and efficiently in stressful situations
  • Registration (ASW, AMFT, APCC) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology
  • Minimum two years of experience providing behavioral health services in a public health, community mental health, crisis services, or other setting serving people who are unhoused
