Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to join our interdisciplinary team at Center for Elders' Independence. This role will provide diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy services to participants with diverse behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify participants requiring clinical services based on acuity/need across all centers
  • Develop and accept internal referrals from CEI providers and/or IDT for clinical and consultation services
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments to inform treatment plans and develop comprehensive care strategies
  • Provide crisis intervention services and collaborate with hospital staff during discharge planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation of participant behavior, interventions, conditions, and outcomes in electronic health records
  • Foster strong relationships with primary care teams, CEI Social Workers, and community resources to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Clinical Counselor; Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or PhD license required)
  • 2 years' experience providing diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy
  • 1 year experience working with frail and elderly populations with Health Psychology model preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments
  • Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record
