About the Role: Actalent is hiring an Employee Service Specialist for a permanent role supporting all incoming requests for our internal employees and technical consultants.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all new employees are educated in benefits plans, employment policies, and time-entry procedures.
  2. Assist the payroll team with timecard collection, manager approval, and communication to internal partners and employees.
  3. Communicate termed employees to the payroll team to ensure proper off-boarding.
  4. Manage unemployment claims and hearings, partnering with the Worker's Compensation team and Unemployment Representatives.
  5. Audit PTO packages and assist with immigration questions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum 3 years professional experience in an employee service or HR-related position.
  • Professional experience explaining and administering employee benefit plans required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and escalate employment issues, interface with managers and technical leaders.

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $42,000 - $46,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
