Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at SCP Health. The ideal candidate will have experience in Emergency Medicine and be certified in EM/HM. The Physician Assistant will work in a 7K volume Critical Access ED, with a 24-hour shift schedule. The NPPA model will cover both sides of the house, and virtual backup will be provided for EM/HM daily with HM Telehealth coverage at night.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct physical exams and order diagnostic tests as needed
  • Develop and implement patient education plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications
  • PA - EM/HM experience is a must
  • UMMC TelEmergency Certification - required by NPs and PAs
