About the Role:

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly skilled Property Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of property maintenance, including supervising maintenance employees and vendors, obtaining and processing proposals for necessary repairs and maintenance, confirming work invoices for payment, conducting property site inspections, and managing leases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Train Maintenance Employees: Provide guidance and support to maintenance employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Solicit and Supervise Third-Party Contractors/Vendors: Identify and engage with qualified contractors and vendors to perform maintenance and repair work, and ensure that their work meets our high standards.
  • Manage Maintenance Operations: Develop and implement preventative maintenance processes for owned and leased properties, and conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor Compliance: Ensure that all properties are compliant with OSHA and TSA property guidelines, and respond to risk management findings.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare and submit purchase order requests, submit property-related insurance claims, and research and recommend cost-saving efficiency opportunities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Regularly communicate with ARC Command regarding projects and payments, and participate in training opportunities to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
