We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Highgate Hotels. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction, and upholding the company's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment, including boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
  • Test and record readings on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Replace and program televisions, light switches, receptacles, and light bulbs as needed.
  • Perform furniture repair and replacement.
  • Repair and replace pumps, plumbing fixtures, and water lines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
  • Test, clean, and repair swimming pools and spas.
  • Paint designated areas and repair sheet rock.
  • Repair and finish wall coverings.
  • Program and repair hotel electronic lock systems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
  • Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) property specific.
Physical Demands

The Maintenance Technician will be required to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects in excess of 100 pounds occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds constantly.
