Chief Perfusionist Job Opportunity

Epic Cardiovascular Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Perfusionist to join our team in Tuscaloosa, AL.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled perfusionist to lead our 2-member perfusion team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be Board Certified (ABCP) or eligible, and have a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a 2-member perfusion team in Tuscaloosa, AL.
  2. Perform a variety of cardiac procedures, including CABGs, valves, and cell savers.
  3. Collaborate with a skilled and easy-to-work-with chief of cardiac surgery.
  4. Participate in clinical decisions with a team approach and practice evidence-based medicine.
  5. Adapt to a challenging clinical environment and possess good communication and troubleshooting skills.

Requirements:

  • Graduated from an accredited American perfusion program.
  • ABCP certified or board eligible.
  • Willing to relocate to Tuscaloosa, AL or the immediate surrounding area.

Compensation:

$130,000-$170,000+ per year based on skills, experience, and possible bonus opportunities.
