Chief Perfusionist Opportunity

Epic Cardiovascular Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Perfusionist to lead our team in Tuscaloosa, AL.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled perfusionist with a strong background in cardiac perfusion and leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a challenging clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of perfusionists in a 2-surgeon account
  2. Perform a variety of cardiac procedures, including CABGs and valves
  3. Collaborate with the cardiac surgery team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  4. Participate in clinical decisions and contribute to the development of evidence-based medicine
  5. Recruit and train new team members

Requirements:

  • Board Certified (ABCP) or eligible
  • Graduated from an accredited American perfusion program
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to practice evidence-based medicine
  • Willingness to relocate to Tuscaloosa, AL or the surrounding area
