Key Responsibilities
  • Per Diem Placement: Coordinate the placement of Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other healthcare staff to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Scheduling: Schedule temporary staff to meet census demand and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Employee Management: Gather information on employee issues, usage, retention, and termination, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Customer Service: Respond to service requests, inquiries, and complaints from patients, families, and healthcare staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Staffing Scheduling: Print out and update daily staffing schedules to ensure accurate and efficient staffing.
  • Communication: Communicate with management, department directors, and healthcare staff to obtain staffing orders and provide updates on staffing levels.
  • On-Call Staffing: Provide oversight and support for on-call staffing as needed.
  • Staff Prioritization: Make assessments and decisions on prioritizing staff for available client orders.
  • Order Management: Organize and distribute all orders and travel requests to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Issue Reporting: Communicate issues or client process changes to senior management staff.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience: 1 year of staffing experience, preferably in healthcare or hospital settings
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, proficiency in data entry, and prior customer service experience
