Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to lead department heads and staff to meet designated workloads and schedules.
- Collaborates with Human Resources to effectively staff departments and train personnel.
- Efficiently manages teams in Customer Service, Procurement, Inventory Control, and Warehousing.

Prepares, reviews, or audits necessary documentation and records as required.
Performs additional duties or special projects as necessary.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field preferred, or equivalent education, experience, and training. 6-8 years of experience in Plant Operations with multi-functional responsibilities for 3-4 years (including Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, Customer Service).


Ability to engage with various levels within a plant environment and manage multiple functions.
Proficient understanding of inventory management and computerized materials management systems.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage complex departments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Excellent analytical and project management capabilities.
Skilled in planning and creating accurate professional reports for managed areas.
Ability to foster teamwork and demonstrate strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional decision-making abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AS400 systems preferred.

Work Environment:
General office and warehouse settings.

During the performance of daily tasks, employees may be required to sit or stand for extended periods while using hands and arms to handle and operate objects. Occasional kneeling, crouching, crawling, or climbing may be necessary. Regular communication with others is required, along with occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
