Job Requirements:

To be successful as a Traveling Voice and Language Expert, you must possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments. Additionally, you should be proficient in documentation and record-keeping, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities, identifying specific areas of challenge.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address these challenges, incorporating evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Teach patients sound production techniques, improve sentence structure, and expand vocabulary, adapting to individual learning styles.
  • Counsel individuals and families on effective coping strategies for communication and swallowing disorders, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and services, contributing to positive patient outcomes.

Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year, dependent on location and experience.
