We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Claims Investigator to join our team at Allied Universal Compliance and Investigations. As a Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Investigator, you will play a critical role in investigating suspected fraudulent insurance claims and ensuring the integrity of our clients' insurance programs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough investigations of suspected fraudulent insurance claims, utilizing your expertise in insurance policies and fraud detection techniques.
- Collaborate with clients, case managers, and other SIU entities to gather information and develop a comprehensive understanding of each case.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of investigations, including reports, memos, and letters.
- Produce high-quality, professional reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in insurance investigations and fraud detection.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as criminal justice or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance investigations, law enforcement, or a related field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications, including private investigator licenses.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Military experience or law enforcement background.
- Professional certifications, such as Certified Fraud Investigator (CFE) or Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI).
- Experience with insurance administration or claims handling.
- Competitive hourly rate: $32 - $38 per hour.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

- Seven paid holidays annually and sick days as required by law.
- Vacation time offered at an initial accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly for full-time positions.
