Position Overview

We are currently seeking profiles for future clinical teaching opportunities. Our institution is looking for Part-Time Clinical Nursing Educators to engage with our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.

As a Clinical Educator, you will provide mentorship to nursing students in a hands-on clinical environment, facilitating their learning in various healthcare settings.

Teaching Schedule

Clinical teaching assignments are typically structured around one 8-12 hour shift, which may occur on weekdays, weeknights, or weekends, depending on the clinical partner's schedule.

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Educator will:

  • Implement the institution's educational philosophy and curriculum through effective clinical instruction.
  • Oversee individual teaching responsibilities and ensure alignment with course objectives.
  • Plan and supervise clinical experiences, providing direct evaluation of student performance.
  • Maintain open communication with clinical staff and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Participate in the ongoing development and assessment of the nursing program.
  • Serve as a professional role model in areas of collaboration, communication, and excellence.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and institutional policies.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a doctoral degree from an accredited institution.
  • A valid nursing license in the relevant state.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • A minimum of two years of professional nursing experience within the last five years.
  • A genuine passion for nursing education and a commitment to student success.
