The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the field construction of a project, ensuring timely completion, staying within budget, and maintaining the quality of workmanship specified.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities to achieve project goals.
- Direct field personnel to complete the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications.
- Create and maintain a construction schedule, identify and solve problems, and order materials as necessary.
- Manage self-performed duties with labor and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employers.
- Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards immediately.
- Ensure all company employees and contractors adhere to the company safety policy.
- A 4-year college degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- One year of relevant experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of construction.
- Organized with a systematic approach to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities.

Capable of traversing over construction-type terrain, moving through the construction site and materials, climbing ladders and temporary stairways, conducting visual inspections of quality of construction and materials, and conducting jobsite walks to ensure successful project completion and identify and eliminate safety hazards.
