Academic Breast Surgeon/Surgical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Breast Surgeon/Surgical Oncologist to join our team at the University of California, Davis. The successful candidate will work within the Division of Surgical Oncology and will be expected to participate in clinical care, teaching, research, and university service.
The emphasis of this recruitment is for a breast surgical oncologist who specializes in all areas of breast surgical care. The selected candidate will have substantial opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and will be expected to leverage the strengths of the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center in translational research.
The candidate will be expected to engage in clinical care, teaching, research, and university service, depending on their academic series. Expectations of the Clinical X and In-Residence series are to engage in teaching, research, service, and clinical work. Expectations of the Health Science Clinical Professor series are to engage in clinical work, teaching, and to support the department's research mission.

- Engage in clinical work, teaching, and research
- Must possess a Medical Degree
- Ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment
- Must be able to obtain a California Medical License
- Completion of an approved Breast or Surgical Oncology Fellowship with an emphasis in breast care
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Surgery
