Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plastic Surgeon to join our team at the University of California, Davis. As a member of our Department of Surgery, you will have the opportunity to engage in the teaching and practice of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including clinical care, microsurgery, and basic science/translational research trials.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with facial wounds, congenital deformities, and/or breast reconstructive needs
  • Engage in teaching and research activities, including participation in departmental and university-wide initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical and research programs in plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to advance the department's research and clinical missions
Requirements
  • MD degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Plastic Surgery and any subspecialty surgical services
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment
  • California Medical License prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Experience with microsurgery and basic science/translational research trials
