About the RoleWe are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and executing various financial and administrative tasks to support the organization's financial health and compliance. Key responsibilities include managing the accounting and month-end close processes, overseeing treasury and banking activities, ensuring accurate tax reporting, coordinating the preparation of legal entity documents, and managing property-related matters.
Key Responsibilities- Execute monthly financial close processes for various entities using QuickBooks and other accounting tools.
- Oversee the management of Amex and MasterCard accounts, including coordination with the Controller.
- Maintain and manage relationships with credit card providers, ensuring submission of annual financial statements and effective account oversight.
- Develop and manage comprehensive budgets, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections to support strategic planning and financial decision-making.
- Oversee and coordinate the creation of new legal entities with outside counsel and internal stakeholders, including legal documents such as articles of incorporation, tax ID, resale certificates, permits, etc.
- Prepare and file sales tax reports for multiple entities covering CA, GA, NY, TX, and Florida and Broward County.
- Administer treasury management functions, including establishment of new investment accounts, if needed.
- Track and manage new loan documentation, including amortization schedule, ensure timely follow-up on interest payments, and schedule monthly payments.
- Administer and renew lease agreements, including management of annual renewals and new contract negotiations.
- Ensure the acquisition of adequate insurance coverage for all real property, including management of annual renewals.
- Monthly reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Accounts.
