In your position at CubeSmart Self Storage, you will be tasked with overseeing and maintaining your facility. This role requires proficiency in both customer relations and property upkeep.

The Property Management Assistant is accountable for....

Customer Relations:

  • Building customer connections by understanding self-storage requirements and offering suitable solutions while delivering exceptional service.
  • Engaging directly with clients, providing outstanding service, and fostering relationships.
  • Achieving monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Conducting property inspections and showcasing units to potential customers.
  • Collaborating independently and as part of a team to rent self-storage units, sell merchandise, manage the leasing process, process payments using our Point-of-Sale System (POS), complete daily bank reconciliations, and make follow-up calls to clients regarding overdue payments.

Facility Maintenance:

  • Physical tasks include daily property walks, cleaning units and the facility, and operating storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Maintaining the premises, which involves mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, clearing out storage units, and performing similar light maintenance tasks.
  • Ensuring a clean and secure storage environment to meet company standards (including clean restrooms, landscaping, parking areas, fencing, walls, and doors).
