Position Overview

Thrive Medical is seeking a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide outstanding healthcare services to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in patient care and will be responsible for maintaining precise and up-to-date patient records.

The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with our team of Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, and Acupuncturists to ensure that each patient receives exceptional, coordinated care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, documenting relevant findings.
  • Diagnose and manage various health conditions and chronic illnesses.
  • Order and interpret necessary laboratory tests and special examinations.
  • Provide preventive health services, including education and counseling.
  • Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Must be an experienced Nurse Practitioner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program recognized by the New York State Education Department.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited body is required.
  • Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York State or be eligible for licensure.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in Vascular Care, including Venous Insufficiency and Peripheral Arterial Disease.
  • Familiarity with Image Guided Injectables.
  • Knowledge of PICC line placement and vein ablations.
