The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with our team of Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, and Acupuncturists to ensure that each patient receives exceptional, coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, documenting relevant findings.
- Diagnose and manage various health conditions and chronic illnesses.
- Order and interpret necessary laboratory tests and special examinations.
- Provide preventive health services, including education and counseling.
- Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
- Must be an experienced Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
- Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program recognized by the New York State Education Department.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited body is required.
- Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York State or be eligible for licensure.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Vascular Care, including Venous Insufficiency and Peripheral Arterial Disease.
- Familiarity with Image Guided Injectables.
- Knowledge of PICC line placement and vein ablations.
