We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Associate to join our team at Foundation Health Services. As an Environmental Services Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform a variety of assigned cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing according to departmental policy and procedures.
- Supply Management: Inventories, restocks, and replenish supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, etcetera, located in all assigned areas of the facility.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of departmental equipment and notifies appropriate personnel as repairs become necessary.
- Customer Service: Responds to questions and requests from patients, staff, and visitors, meeting or exceeding goals for customer service satisfaction.
- Independence and Teamwork: Requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
- Communication: Must be able to interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions, communicate effectively with others by phone and verbally.
- Chemical Safety: Must be able to read and understand material safety data sheets and instructions for mixing and use of cleaning chemicals.
Foundation Health Services is a non-profit facility owned by the Greater Fairbanks Community Hospital Foundation. A Joint Commission-accredited facility with 152 licensed beds, we are the primary referral center for residents of Alaska's interior with a strong patient-to-nurse ratio and Shared Leadership Infrastructure.
