Under the general supervision of the unit's director or designee, the Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for directing and coordinating all unit functions during designated shifts.
In collaboration with other management team members, this individual is tasked with the continuous evaluation of the quality of patient care services delivered in the unit.
The
CNC:
Assumes responsibility for directing and coordinating all activities during their assigned shift.
Acts as a resource for staff members and assists in the necessary education of nursing personnel.
Takes charge of the overall quality of nursing care provided during their duty hoursMakes decisions regarding activities in these areas based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards of Care for the unit, in collaboration with other management team members.

Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in the relevant specialty and preferred leadership/management experience.
Dedicated to the goals of the unit, patient safety initiatives, and enhancing the patient experience.
