RN Transplant Coordinator

As a RN Clinical Transplant Coordinator - Uncertified at AdventHealth, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides individualized care to patients seeking and/or having received a solid organ transplant. This role assumes responsibility and accountability for comprehensive care, support, and education to transplant recipients, living donors, and their families throughout all phases of the transplant process.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct pre-transplant interviews with prospective transplant patients and families, interpreting eligibility criteria for patients, families, physicians, and outside agencies.
- Assess patients' compliance and ability to adhere to a medication regimen and treatment recommendations.
- Serve as a patient advocate, anticipating needs of providers, staff, patients, and families.
- Minimum of two years' experience in acute care or critical care nursing.
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse licensure.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS) certification.
