Job Overview

This Graduate Practical Nurse (GPN) position involves delivering nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, conducting patient assessments, administering medications, and contributing to care planning. The role supports quality healthcare delivery at Genesis HealthCare, focusing on compassion and teamwork to enhance patient satisfaction.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$28 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
  • Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of an approved school for vocational nursing, currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure, and have experience preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
