Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients.
  • Work within hospital policies, nursing division policies, and departmental guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients on their treatment plans, including medications, therapies, and self-care techniques.
  • Ensure patient medical records contain necessary information, including vital signs, medication lists, and test results.
  • Answer telephones, triage calls, and communicate with families and caregivers as needed.
  • Document and communicate clinical findings, including changes in patient status or concerns.
  • Follow patient safety-related policies and procedures, identifying and reporting potential risks and hazards.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve patient safety and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Nationally accredited nursing graduate status, with current CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish, or other native languages, desired but not required.
