Our Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Thermal Engineering Specialist to join our Thermal Sciences Practice. This role will involve utilizing fundamental engineering and scientific principles to address real-world challenges in failure analysis, risk mitigation, and product development.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Analyzing and synthesizing complex datasets
  • Conducting laboratory experiments and performing analytical or computational modeling
  • Reviewing and interpreting experiments and simulations conducted by clients
  • Researching and extracting data from published literature
  • Executing risk assessments
  • Preparing comprehensive reports, proposals, and presentations
  • Managing projects while ensuring efficiency under tight deadlines
  • Effectively communicating technical conclusions to professionals in engineering, legal, business, and industrial sectors

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Aero-Astro, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical, Nuclear, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline, with a robust understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and combustion
  • A background in data sciences and/or electrical engineering is advantageous, though not mandatory
  • Exceptional ability to apply fundamental engineering concepts to novel challenges
  • Hands-on experience in designing and executing experimental programs
  • Familiarity with technical documentation and equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
