Software Development Engineer

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to support the Tactical Space Systems Division in the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of satellite ground software. This position is located on-site at our Dulles, VA campus and requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop full-stack applications at the OS, platform, and mission-unique software layer
- Design, build, and deploy software products using Agile DevOps methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve software quality
- Support the installation of new ground segment software in operational, development, and test environments
- Participate in acceptance testing and troubleshooting of software defects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python, C++, and Bash scripting
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience in technical problem-solving and root cause analysis
- DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required
