The Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services is currently looking for a Full-Time Community Program Facilitator to join our Drop-in Center, part of our Community Prevention Partnership Program.
Role Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Community Program Facilitator is to support the Program Manager in the daily management of the Circle of Friends Drop-in Center. This position involves planning and executing educational, social, and recreational activities tailored for adults with mental health challenges.
The Program Manager will also assist clients in accessing essential services.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with flexible hours to meet the staffing requirements of the Circle of Friends Drop-in Center, operating Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Human Services or Behavioral Health is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with the capability to operate a 14-passenger van.
- Experience in behavioral or mental health services and/or substance abuse is essential.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including being nonjudgmental, objective, reflective, empathetic, patient, and tactful.
- Ability to build rapport with mental health clients and empower them by focusing on their strengths.
- Physical capability to assist in receiving and unloading food bank supplies, including lifting up to 40 pounds, stacking boxes, and organizing items in freezers.
