POSITION SUMMARY

Yulista is in search of a Subject Matter Expert (SME) at the Executive Level to fulfill the role of Business Strategy Analyst. This position involves providing strategic, managerial, and operational guidance to the Project Manager (PM) regarding the functional domain under examination. Leveraging a comprehensive understanding of process enhancement, organizational transformation, and performance optimization methodologies, you will offer insights and recommendations aimed at broad-scale system advancements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate autonomously and/or directly support the PM by delivering strategic, managerial, and operational expertise.
  • Engage with stakeholders across various processes, facilities, and organizational levels to comprehend business goals, facilitate the definition of measurement solutions, and implement business methodologies that enhance performance.
  • Contribute to analytical efforts that articulate a narrative with themes that clearly identify issues and necessary actions for performance enhancement.
  • Identify data discrepancies and trends, investigate underlying causes, and propose viable solutions.
  • Assist in initiatives that monitor process compliance and performance against improvement plans, including the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and dashboards to oversee processes and foster accountability.
  • Investigate exemplary business practices both within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data.
  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of current business processes.
  • Determine how emerging information technologies can facilitate the reengineering of business processes.
  • Prepare and evaluate management and site-specific reports to address the needs of program stakeholders, enhance risk awareness, and support informed decision-making.
  • Conduct change management assessments and devise change management strategies.
  • Create actionable deliverables, such as communication plans, roadmaps, coaching strategies, training plans, or resistance management plans.
  • Utilize strong analytical and technical skills to document findings in alignment with approved quality standards and procedures.
  • Define and measure success metrics while monitoring change progress.
  • Analyze and document functional requirements, business process diagrams/flowcharts, functional specifications, and requirements roadmaps.
  • Participate in the validation and traceability of functional requirements to functional specifications and system technical specifications.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

No direct supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Proven experience as a SME/Executive-Level overseeing the delivery of innovative IT solutions across multiple business lines within the information management domain.
  • Advanced understanding of process development, organizational transformation, and performance enhancement methodologies.
  • Capability to apply process improvement and reengineering principles to execute modernization projects.
  • Expertise in process mapping, data analysis, and project management.
  • Ability to analyze business and technical processes to design and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
  • Skill in representing business stakeholders to articulate functional requirements and business cases for process enhancements and technological advancements.
  • Competence in organizing data from diverse sources and transforming large datasets into meaningful, actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data visualization to convey clear and compelling insights.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex documents and implementation strategies.
  • Demonstrated skills in group facilitation, interviewing, training, and other forms of knowledge transfer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools, with advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Adept at collaborating with clients to extract business requirements and prepare documentation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with team members, stakeholders, and management on both business and IT matters.
  • Strong leadership and coaching/mentoring abilities.
  • Solid business acumen and attention to detail.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a quick learning aptitude.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business models and technology integration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance; may be required to obtain SCI access.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • This position requires a minimum of ten (10) years of specialized experience in the functional area; education may be substituted.
  • Accredited in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
