Job Summary

Forest Properties Management, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our property in Fort Myers, FL. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and heating/cooling systems.
  • Respond to service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare vacant apartments for lease by performing necessary repairs and cleaning.
  • Report any building or system issues to supervisor for further action.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Work a rotational on-call schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, or painting.
  • Some HVAC or appliance repair experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 75 Lbs. or more and perform physical activities such as walking, crouching, bending, and reaching.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Bring own tools and have reliable transportation.
  • Eligibility to work in the USA and provide proof.
