Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician with Brookdale, you'll be responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of our community buildings and grounds. This includes performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a range of equipment, including HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment. You'll also be responsible for responding to maintenance requests from community directors and residents, and for maintaining positive communication with local fire marshals, building inspectors, and other jurisdictions governing the community.

Qualifications

To be a successful Maintenance Technician with Brookdale, you'll need to have a range of skills and qualifications. These include:

•⁠ ⁠A high school diploma or equivalent.

•⁠ ⁠At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field.

•⁠ ⁠A valid driver's license.

•⁠ ⁠The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work at heights.

•⁠ ⁠The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.

•⁠ ⁠The ability to communicate effectively with associates, residents, and other stakeholders.

Salary Range Information

The salary range for this position is $16.10 - $20.75 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
