Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Schedule Manager to join our team at Dimeo Construction Company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, providing status updates, and overseeing the development of scheduling standards and overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop project contract schedules, from project pursuits to closeout and turnover.
  • Provide status updates on assigned projects, incorporating design, submittal management, procurement, preconstruction, detailed construction, and commissioning.
  • Oversee the development of scheduling standards and overall efficiency, working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents.
  • Support the Client Executive and pursuit team in project pursuits, playing a key role in RFP responses and interviews.
  • Generate client and A/E relationships, playing a key role in the preconstruction effort through to GMP.
  • Maintain client and A/E relationships throughout the project cycle and beyond.
  • Build, manage, and execute project schedules and project financial information, cost loading as required within the project.
  • Coordinate with all entities of the project teams, update cost and resource information as necessary.
  • Review the critical path and identify changes and project impacts in the schedule, modify logic based on prevailing conditions, and consult with project leadership to develop workarounds and overcome obstacles.
  • Manage and control all scheduling data through project management software.
  • Assess additional factors such as productivity, available labor and equipment resources, inspection processes, material availability, outstanding and pending required information, weather constraints, utility company commitments, quantity of critical paths increasing project schedule risk, and overall logistical constraints.
  • Provide schedule status reports for all projects to the Sr. Vice President of Construction on a monthly basis.

  • Assist in employee annual performance reviews.
  • Committed to teaching, guiding, and enhancing the scheduling skillset of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Field Engineers directly involved with each of the project schedules.
  • Committed to self-improvement through technical and leadership training.
Reports To
  • Sr. Vice President of Construction.
  • Work collectively with Preconstruction Managers, Director of Estimating, and Director of Purchasing throughout the preconstruction phase.
  • Work collectively with Sr. Vice President of Operations, Sr. Vice President of Construction, and the project teams to achieve company goals.
