Role Summary:
The Agricultural Export Services Representative will play a pivotal role in facilitating the export of specialized agricultural cargo, particularly cotton. This position requires adept handling of customer inquiries and requests, ensuring swift resolution of issues to minimize service disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the export process for agricultural and cotton shipments, including managing bookings, rates, and customer interactions to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with both domestic and international regulations by communicating necessary requirements to clients.
- Address customer concerns with urgency, troubleshooting issues related to cargo integrity, including temperature control and equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and global CMA CGM offices to guarantee efficient transport of goods.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, personalizing communication to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide necessary reporting to stakeholders regarding cargo status and potential challenges.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with CMA CGM's organizational structure and service offerings.
- Basic understanding of the transportation sector.
- Proficient in customer service and documentation processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Awareness of the importance of customer relations and sensitivity to client needs.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
- No prior experience is necessary, though customer service experience is advantageous.
