Pediatric Plastic/Hand Surgeon Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Plastic/Hand Surgeon to join our team at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

As an Assistant Professor in Hand Surgery, you will be responsible for teaching clinical and didactic instruction of medical students and plastic or orthopedic surgery residents.

Clinical responsibilities may include building a practice in hand surgery, with additional duties in either plastic or orthopedic surgery depending on candidate training.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical and/or basic science investigations in the field of plastic or orthopedic surgery and, specifically, hand surgery.

Applicants who have completed an accredited hand surgery fellowship will be preferred.

The faculty appointment will be in either the Department of Surgery or Department of Orthopedic Surgery depending on specific training of the most qualified candidate.
