Procurement Specialist

Heat and Control, a premier manufacturer in the food processing and packaging industry, is looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage and streamline all purchasing activities at our Pembroke, NH facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on-site five days a week in the Pembroke, New Hampshire office. (Remote work is not an option).
- Source and acquire goods and services, including raw materials and components.
- Evaluate and process requisitions.
- Generate purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation, including costs and delivery schedules.
- Identify issues with defective products and implement corrective measures, including managing returns to avoid excess inventory.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to interpret technical documents such as operating and maintenance manuals.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a procurement role.
- Proficient in extracting information from blueprints to facilitate parts ordering.
- Capable of performing calculations related to discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, and volume, applying basic algebra and geometry principles.
- Must be able to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodations.
- Work on-site five days a week in the Pembroke, New Hampshire office. No remote work is permitted.
