AC Hotels by Marriott is seeking a skilled Security Officer to join its team at the Vancouver waterfront location. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, guests, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Conduct regular surveillance of premises using CCTV cameras and other security equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Washington security certificate/license.
  • First aid/CPR certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in loss prevention, surveillance, law enforcement, or military is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle conflict situations calmly and professionally.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
