We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor of Biobehavioral Science. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic area of Biobehavioral Science, with an emphasis on sensorimotor neuroscience.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in the area of biobehavioral science, with a focus on sensorimotor neuroscience.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise physiology, kinesiology, and related fields.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program, with a focus on securing extramural funding.
  • Contribute to the department's service and outreach efforts.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in exercise physiology, kinesiology, psychology, rehabilitation science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Postdoctoral training is strongly preferred.
  • A promising or distinguished record of scholarly accomplishments, success or promise in obtaining extramural funding for research, and promise for teaching excellence.
  • Strong communication skills, along with a commitment to integrity, academic excellence, professional service, and inclusion.
